Bugugu airstrip is one of the three airfields in this mighty park located in the southern sector of the park. The airstrip is used by luxury travelers who want to access the park using air transport. Bugugu airstrip gets flights from Entebbe international airport and Kajjansi airstrip which are said to take 1 hour 15 minutes. The airstrip favors travelers that are visiting the southern sector of the park.

Apart from using the airstrips of Murchison falls, travelers can use road transport and access M park in a single day. The journey takes 4-6 hours from Kampala, Luwero, Nakasongola to Masindi or Pakwach where you use different gates to access the park.
