Pregnant women can use sedan chairs

Sedan chairs are not only for elderly people but also for pregnant women. Pregnant woman who feels like they won’t complete the hike or those that feel like they are not fit enough can always inform their tour operator to get them sedan chairs. Sedan chairs are recommended for pregnant women of 7 to 9 months.

After the briefing, the trekkers are driven by their guides to the starting point of the trek. Here men with sedan chairs carry you throughout the whole trek. They will carry you until you meet the mountain gorillas and they will put you down to help you watch them properly. You will get to see the mountain gorillas do daily activities, take photos, and then get a chance to learn about their habits.

After spending time with the mountain gorillas, you will get back to the sedan chair and the men will carry you out of the jungle to your safari vehicle. You will drive to Ntebeko for your gorilla trekking certificate and later to the lodge or your next safari destination.

Accommodation and food
