Hiking Mount Rwenzori takes 9 to 12 days and the time taken for one to get to the summit depends on their speed and the nature of hiking trails. The hiking starts with a briefing where park authorities teach hikers about the rules and regulations of the activity before armed ranger guides lead them to the starting points of hiking.
