This 3 days wildlife safari will take you to Queen Elizabeth national park Uganda for the big game sighting, boat cruise and chimpanzee tracking. Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the most visited and popular Savannah reserve in Uganda because of its widest diversity of wildlife. This park has diversity of habitats for different wildlife species such as grassland Savannah for big and small grazing mammals, forests for primates and birds, wetlands and lakes for aquatic mammals, reptiles, birds and different fish species. This park is a home to four members of the Big five family and these include Lions, Leopard, Elephants and Buffaloes. Day 1: Pick up from Kampala/ Entebbe or Airport – Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kasoga evening community walk
Meet your driver guide from your hotel or residence with in or around Kampala / Entebbe or airport at to begin your safari to queen Elizabeth Uganda. Your adventurous road drive will take you across equator with an en-route stop at Kayabwe Equator crossing point to witness the water experiment which shows the movement of forces. Then continue with your drive to Mbarara city to have lunch and later go to check in at your booked lodge to relax. Later in the evening go to Kasoga community for an evening community walk where you will be given typically firsthand experience with immerse of both cultural and marine presentations in a unique style like escorting cattle to feed, local milking methods, local means of milk preservation to produce local yogurt and getting ghee. Later in the evening visit the landing site to engage in the marine practices that will make you feel authentic of the African culture and the tranquility of the Uganda’s virgin culture. Day 2: Queen Elizabeth national park Uganda safari– Early morning game drive – Afternoon Boat cruise – Evening game drive
Take your morning heavy breakfast, then set out to the park to start your safari to queen Elizabeth Uganda with a morning game drive to search for the wildlife along the Kasenyi and Queens Mile trucks. During your morning game drive you will encounter many wildlife species such as; African caped buffaloes, Elephants, Lions, water bucks, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs, Giant forest hog plus many birds and many others. Return to your lodge to relax, lunch and later go for your afternoon 2 hours boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel. Kazinga Channel has the highest concentration of hippopotamuses in Africa, big number of Nile crocodiles and it is a glory place for birders to enjoy most to see hundreds and hundreds of different bird species on the shore of the channel. Also expect to see other animals both big and small mammals on the shores when they have come to drink water and swimming such as Elephants, Buffaloes, and Antelopes. After enjoying your afternoon boat safari, have a short break to relax and go for your evening game drive that will be focusing at searching for the big predators of the park such as Lions, Leopards, Spotted hyenas and others. Day 3: Queen Elizabeth national park – Morning chimpanzee tracking – Return to Kampala OR Entebbe airport
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy your warm breakfast and transfer to Kalinzu forest reserve for a guided chimpanzee tracking walk. This forest is home-based to about 414 species of trees, shrubs and 378 bird species including the Great Blue Turaco, Black and White Cascket, Cuckoos, and Sunbirds plus 6 Species of Primates such as Chimpanzees our closest relatives. Later after your adventurous chimpanzee tracking walk, have a short break to relax, enjoy your packed lunch and then embark on your road drive to return to Entebbe international airport to meet your return flight OR you may decide to spend another night in Entebbe Town to end your safari to queen Elizabeth Uganda.
