You will fly from either Entebbe airport or Kanjansi air trip to Kihihi air trip to prepare yourself for a magical jungle gorilla encounter the following day! Day 1: Arrival and transfer
Meet and greet our company representative and transfer to your booked accommodation for briefing about your Bwindi Gorilla Flying Tour, dinner and overnight. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a simple nature walk to Entebbe Botanical gardens. Overnight stay at Protea hotel Entebbe
Day 2: Fly to Bwindi through Kihihi airstrip – Batwa Encounter
Have an early morning breakfast and head to either Entebbe airport or Kanjansi airstrip to catch up with your flight to Bwindi impenetrable forest. Check in to your lodge for lunch and relaxation as you enjoy greater views of the forest. Later in the evening, go for local community interaction to explore the unity cultural diversity of Uganda. Diner and overnight at Silverback lodge.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking
Have an early morning breakfast in the misty Bwindi forest and later head to the park headquarters for a short briefing from the park rangers. During this meeting, your will be informed on the rules and regulations, dos and dont’s involved during mountain gorilla trekking. After your briefing you will be assigned to a mountain gorilla family to track; start your Bwindi Gorilla Flying Tour trail to go and see a particular allocated mountain gorilla family. Gorilla trekking lasts for a minimum of two to eight hours depending on the location of these giant primates.
After encountering Uganda gorillas, you will spend an hour with them to take photos and videos and well as seeing them how they live in a misty jungle!! Trek back to your starting point to pick your gorilla trekking certificate and later drive back to your lodge for lunch. Diner and overnight at Silverback lodge.
Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe and departure
Have breakfast and drive to Kihihi airstrip to catch up with your flight to Entebbe to end your Bwindi Gorilla Flying Tour. You may opt for an afternoon flight upon your preference.
