Day 1: Pick Up and transfer to Bwindi forest gorilla park
Meet our tour guide from Kigali and take a city tour to visit major places such as Kigali Genocide Memorial Monument, Kimironko Market and Caplaki Crafts Village before transferring to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trek Uganda the following day. The ride may take about four to five hours with short break at Uganda-Rwanda border for clearance. As soon as we reach in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, you will proceed to your booked lodge for an overnight and dinner at Gorilla Mist Camp
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking experience and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Have early morning breakfast meal at your lodge and drive to the park headquarters for briefing and allocation of gorilla family for trek. You will later start your gorilla trek Uganda adventure trail into the misty Bwindi jungles looking for allocated gorilla family. Keep an eye on other forest inhabitants such as unique birds and other primates ie black and white colobus monkeys among others. The trekking journey takes between two to eight hours inclusive of a full hour encounter with mountain gorillas. You will maintain 8 meters distance and avoid taking photos with flash lights on as this may irritate gorillas and causes them to charge at people. After this epic explore, return to the park headquarters to receive your respective gorilla trekking certificates, return to the lodge for lunch, check out and drive off to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation
Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi & Transfer to Kigali
Have breakfast and go to the deepest lake for canoeing experience. Explore several islands before returning to the lodge for lunch and drive off to Kigali for drop to mark the end of your gorilla trek Uganda and Lake Bunyonyi safari.
