Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Meet our safari guide at either Kigali airport Rwanda or Entebbe in Kampala for transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in South Western Uganda through the amazing green landscape. Based on your arrival time, we may take a city tour to explore major cultural and historical sites in either cities. The drive from Kigali to Bwindi is approximately 5 hours while transferring from Entebbe to Bwindi Rushaga sector is about 10 hours.

When you reach Bwindi forest, check in to your lodge for relaxation and prepare yourself for mountain gorilla habituation experience the following day. Overnight and diner at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience

This is a day for a life time memory with the gorillas! You will wake up for heavy breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing and start your 4 hours gorilla habituation experiences with the gorilla group in Rushaga Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. Gorilla habituation experience tour can only accommodate four people per group with only two gorilla families available at the moment.

Please note that normal gorilla trekking takes one hour and accommodates eight people per family while with gorilla habituation, you spend longer time with mountain gorillas in a group of fewer members thus a better adventure experience.
