Visiting Lake Mburo national park in March: Lake Mburo national park is one of the tourism destinations found in Uganda. Its one of the savannah parks in the country fund in Kiruhura district. The national park of 260 sq. km was gazetted in 1983 and is now protecting over 68 mammals, and 350 bird species. So many attractions are with in Lake Mburo national park and a lot of travelers like to have safaris there.

Lake Mburo national park is open all throughout the year including March. March is the starting point of the rainy season in Lake Mburo national park and other parts of the country. In March, the park mostly receives heavy rainfall and the sunshine comes for a little time as the skies are always cloudy. All activities are carried out with in the park however some like bird watching give better results because there is plenty of food in all areas of the park.

Some lodges even close down because of no clients. When the prices of lodges reduce it means that even tour packages will reduce.
