Bwindi gorilla park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda, one of the places with abundant wildlife. Gazetted in 1991, the park is home to over 600 mountain gorillas which implies it hosts more than half of the mountain gorilla population in the world. Bwindi national park is home to 120 mammal species, 11 primates, 350 bird species, 220 butterflies, 27 amphibians, and 51 reptile species.
